Privacy Policy

flng (“we”, “us”) is a daily astrology-style app at flng.io. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Your phone number, used to sign you in and, if you opt in, to send your daily text.
• What you tell us during setup: name, birth date and time, birthplace, the city you live in, interests, tone and relationship status.
• Optional details you add later: what you do, what you’re focused on, and your usual wake and sleep times.
• Questions you ask in the app and the answers we write for you, and how you say you feel.
• People you add to “Your people”: their name, birthday and how they relate to you. Only you can see them, they’re never contacted by us, and you can remove them any time.
• If you send someone an invite link and they accept, your two accounts are linked: each of you sees the other’s name, archetype and your day together, never birth details, phone numbers or other data. Either of you can unlink at any time.
• Basic usage, such as which days you opened the app (for your streak) and your notification settings.
• A short private note summarizing your recent moods, plans and people (“Remember lately”), used only as background for your own readings. It’s on by default; you can turn it off or clear it in Me at any time, and it’s never included in texts or notifications.

How we use it

• To calculate your chart and write your daily reading, your chart reading and answers to your questions.
• To send the daily text and notifications you asked for.
• To keep the service working, secure and free of abuse.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Text messages

Your phone number and SMS consent are used only to deliver the messages you signed up for. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our SMS terms.

Service providers

We share only what each one needs to do its job for us:

• Supabase: database and sign-in.
• Vercel: hosting, and its AI Gateway, which passes your chart details to the AI model provider (Anthropic) to write your readings.
• Twilio: sign-in codes and daily texts.
• Mapbox: looking up the places you type.
• Open-Meteo: the weather where you live (approximate location only).
• Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights: anonymous, cookie-free page and performance stats.

Sharing links

When you tap Share, we save a snapshot of that card (your first name, your archetype and the day’s line) at a public link. Anyone with the link can see it. Your birth details are never included.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete your account and everything tied to it any time in the app under Me → Delete account. You can also email the phone number on your account to support@flng.io and we’ll do it within 30 days.

Children

flng is not for anyone under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect data from them.
